For creators

Get paid for every local you bring to GigNGo.

GigNGo helps people find someone nearby to do a job at home, and the locals who do the work show it on video to get hired.

If people who are good with their hands watch you, share your GigNGo link. When someone joins with it and pays for a membership, you get a share of every payment for a year, sent to your bank.

A GigNGo Membership is $29.99 a month. Your share is of what each person actually pays.

How it works

Four steps, and the last one is getting paid.

1. ApplyTell us where you post and what you make videos about. We read every application ourselves.
2. Get your link and codeA link like gigngo.org/join/yourname, and a short code. The link works even when people install the app first; the code is the backup.
3. Share it, and say you earnIn your bio, your videos, your stories. Tell people you get paid if they join, with #ad or in your own words.
4. Get paid every weekConnect your bank through Stripe once. Each payment is sent to you 30 days after the member pays.

What it adds up to

The math, at the full $29.99 membership.

You earn on each person for 12 months from their first payment. The rate for a payment depends on how many of your people are paying when it comes in.

People payingYour rateYou get each monthIf they stay all year
115%$4.49$53.88
515%$22.45$269.40
1020%$59.90$718.80
2525%$187.25$2,247.00
5025%$374.50$4,494.00

Questions

Questions, answered

Who counts as someone I brought?

Anyone who signs up with your link and then pays for a GigNGo Membership. Your own membership doesn't count.

What if someone installs the app before signing up?

You still get the credit in most cases. Your link carries you through the app store install on Android, and on iPhone we match the install to your link right after they open the app. Your creator code is the backup: say it in your videos, and anyone can type it when they sign up, any time before their first membership payment.

What does my code give people?

Their first week of the GigNGo Membership free when they pay by card, on the website or Android. On iPhone, Apple sets the intro, so the code still credits you there but the free week is for card checkout.

Can I pick or change my code?

Yes. Ask for one when you apply, and change it any time in the app under Earn with GigNGo, once every 30 days. Your old codes keep working and keep crediting you, so codes already said in your videos still count.

How long do I earn on each person?

12 months from their first payment. Every payment they make in that year earns you your share.

Is there a cap?

No. There's no limit on how many people you bring or how much you earn.

How does the rate go up?

It depends on how many of the people you brought are paying at the moment each payment comes in. Under 10 paying, a payment earns you 15%. With 10 or more paying, it earns 20%. With 25 or more, it earns 25%.

When and how do I get paid?

Through Stripe, straight to your bank. Each payment is sent to you 30 days after the member pays, and payouts run every week. Stripe asks for your bank and tax details, sends your 1099, and GigNGo never sees them.

What if someone gets a refund?

Then that payment earns nothing, and if we already paid you for it, that share is taken back on the next payout.

Do App Store memberships count?

Yes. Memberships paid by card on GigNGo and memberships bought through Apple's App Store both count, at the same rate, on the price the member paid.

Do I have to say I earn a commission?

Yes. When you share your link, say you get paid if people join, for example with #ad. The law requires it, and your audience deserves to know.

Can locals already on GigNGo do this?

Yes. If you film your work on GigNGo, you can already earn on the people you bring. Apply here if you want your own short link and a rate we agree together.

Do I need to be a local myself?

No. You don't need to do jobs on GigNGo. You need an audience that includes people who are good with their hands.
