Make a QR code. Free, forever.
Type a link, download your code. No sign-up, no watermark, and it never stops working.
A plain code can't do this. Make your free GigNGo page and your code comes with these extras.
A GigNGo QR code shows who scanned it, and opens on your videos. Free too.

Want to know who scanned it?
A plain QR code opens a link and tells you nothing. If you do work at people's homes, get a GigNGo QR code. It's free too, and it shows you what every sign, card and truck brings in.
- Scans for each pieceYour yard sign, truck and business card each count on their own, so you know which one works.
- Where they scannedSee the town your scans come from, and which spots to put the next sign.
- Who booked youEveryone who books from a scan comes to you with their name and number. Then mark who hired you.
- Your videos open firstPeople see you at work before they call. Then one Book button and a Message button.
Free. You'll make your GigNGo page first. No lead fees, no cut of any job.
One scan, straight to you
A neighbor scans your code, your video plays, and they book or message you on GigNGo. Then they pass you on.
- 1They scan
- 2Your video plays
- 3They book you
- 4They pass you on
See which sign brings the calls
Put each yard sign on the map. The more scans, the bigger the circle. Tap one to see what it brought you.
Not on the map: truck magnet 9 scans, business cards 6 scans. Every piece still counts.
Scans show the town they came from, never a street or a home. Only you see your map. Marcus and these numbers are an example.

How to make a QR code
Pick what it opens
A link, your Wi-Fi, a phone number or a few lines of text.
Type it in
Paste your link or type your details. The code changes as you type.
Download and test
PNG for most things, SVG for big prints. Scan it with your phone before you print.
Make it easy to scan
Big enough for the distance
At least 2 cm (0.8 in) on a business card. For signs, make the code about one tenth as wide as the distance: read from 10 feet away, it needs to be about 12 inches wide.
Dark on light
Phones read a dark code on a light background best. Pale colors and a dark background often fail. The page warns you if a color is too light.
Keep the white border
The blank edge around the code helps phones find it. Your download already has it, so don't crop it off.
Say why to scan
A few words next to the code ("Scan to book", "Scan for Wi-Fi") get more scans than a code on its own.
QR code questions
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on codes or scans, and you can use the codes for a business. The code is made in your browser, so GigNGo never sees what you type.
Will my QR code expire?
No. These are static QR codes: your link is stored inside the code itself, so it works for as long as the link does. Some generators make "dynamic" codes that send every scan through their own server first, and those can stop working if the account lapses. Codes from this page don't go through anyone's server.
Can I track how many people scan my QR code?
Not with a plain code: it holds a link and nothing else. To count scans, the code has to open a page that counts visits. If you run a service business, a free GigNGo QR code does this: it shows scans for each sign, card or truck, the town scans came from, and who booked you from a scan.
What is a GigNGo QR code?
A QR code for people who do local service work, like lawn care, cleaning, handyman work or moving help. It opens your GigNGo page, which starts with your own videos, then a Book button and a Message button. Making the page and the code is free. GigNGo charges no lead fees and takes no cut of any job. See how it works.
Can I change where my QR code goes after I print it?
Not with a static code, so check the link before you print. A GigNGo QR code always opens your GigNGo page, so you change the page, not the sign: new videos, prices and hours show up on the next scan.
What size should I print a QR code?
At least 2 cm (about 0.8 inch) wide for something held in the hand, like a business card. For anything read from further away, make the code about one tenth as wide as the scanning distance. Keep the white border, use a dark code on a light background, and scan a test print first.
How do I make a QR code for my Wi-Fi?
Pick Wi-Fi, type your network name and password exactly as they appear on your router, and choose the security type (most home networks are WPA/WPA2). Guests scan it with their phone camera and join without typing the password.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG works almost everywhere: documents, flyers, social posts and most print shops. SVG stays sharp at any size, so use it for big prints like yard signs, banners and vehicle wraps, or when a designer asks for a vector file.
